Tech pubs work at Affymetrix, Agilent, Applied Biosystems, Bio-Rad, MDL, Roche Diagnostics, or another DNA research equipment maker. Know FrameMaker, have sample manuals you wrote for research tools.
   
Job description: Use FrameMaker to update a manual for a large container with technology (read chip) to calculate gene expression, validation, sequencing, crystallization, and genotyping. Write Standard Operations Procedures (SOPs) for assembling the equipment.
